Spartacus starts out as a Thracian fighting against the Getae for betraying the his people. HIs wife Sura is attacked by Getae warrior's, but Spartacus arrivesin time to kill them. He saved his wife but their village was destoryed. The couple camp out for a night only to be captured by the Getae the next day. Spartacus is sentence to die, while Sura is soled into slavery. Spartacus and others captured are escorted to Capue. Before the gladiatorial games are held, a party is thrown by Senator Albinius.
